Beginner's Guide to MP3
MP3 is a compressed audio format that does not take up a lot of storage space. When you buy an MP3 recording you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to download the recording to your computer. You can then play it on your computer or copy it to any MP3 player – like an iPod.
You can also burn your MP3 recording onto a CD; it will then play on any CD player that has MP3 capability. You can also burn it in CD format for playing on a conventional CD player, if the playing time is 70 minutes or less. You may need extra software to do this – there are various "freeware" packages available on the Internet which you can download. If you need to split a longer MP3 into shorter files to fit on multiple CDs, you can use iTunes to do this.
Availability on MP3
We are working to make all our key recordings available on MP3; however, older recordings may only be available on audio cassette. Creating an MP3 download from an audio cassette can be a lot of work for us, which is why not all are available, and also explains why some are more expensive than others.
Problems?
If the download link doesn't work, please forward to us your confirmation email and we'll send you a new link.
