Mantrams from Various Traditions

Mantrams recommended by Easwaran

In the spiritual heritage of the world’s great religions there are many mantrams and prayer words hallowed by long use, more than we can list here. You may prefer to use another mantram that is familiar to you from your own spiritual tradition. It is important, however, to choose a mantram hallowed by long use, rather than make up your own. Easwaran emphasized that the words should have spiritual meaning and power, and that they should appeal to you deeply. On this page he discusses how to choose and use a mantram.
