The Blue Mountain Center of Meditation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. Within the US, all gifts are tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.

Donations from people outside the US are also welcome and appreciated. If you would like to support the work of the BMCM and cannot do it online, please contact us.

Stock Gifts

Gifts of stocks or bonds may be deductible up to their full fair-market value. Donating also eliminates capital gains tax on any appreciated portion of the gift. It is easy to make a gift of stock. Please contact us for details.

Memorials and Tributes

You can make a gift in memory or honor of someone special, for a birthday, anniversary, or other occasion. Many friends make memorial gifts around the anniversary of Eknath Easwaran’s passing (October 26). You may mail your gift or use the buttons above, and include a note as to the purpose of your gift. We will notify the person honored, or the family of the deceased, of your gift.

Double Your Gift: A Unique Opportunity to Support the Blue Mountain Center

We are pleased to announce a unique opportunity to help the Center meet its strategic objectives and enter its next fifty years with a solid foundation, a long reach, and deeply committed young leaders.

A group of the Center’s friends has launched a matching fund. This gives you the opportunity to make twice the difference, helping us to raise an additional $1.75 million over the current budget from 2005–2009, so we can expand our outreach efforts in accordance with our strategic plan. At least $400,000 in first-time gifts and increased pledges will be matched.

Any gift from a first-time donor is eligible to be matched from the matching fund, as are new pledges and increased pledges. We are grateful for every contribution, no matter what size.

Monthly pledges are especially helpful to the Center, providing stable revenue for our work. With a monthly pledge, which can be charged automatically to your credit card, you can turn a modest monthly contribution into a sizable source of annual support. You can change or discontinue a pledge at any time by notifying the Center.
